Edna Maleski

Edna (DeSonne) Maleski, age 81, of Weatherly, died Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at Hazleton General Hospital.

Widow of Alexander E. Maleski who passed away Feb. 16, 1999.

A member of Our Lady of Lourdes R.C.C., and the Citizens Fire Company Aux, of Weatherly.

Edna had worked for Weatherwood Carbon County Home, and the former CandleLite Inn of Weatherly as a cook, and bartender.

Born in Jersey City, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Emma (Bovery) DeSonne.

She is survived by her

One Daughter,
Lisa (Maleski) Fox wife of Chris of Freeland;

Three Sons,
Robert Maleski of Weatherly,
Rev.Michael Maleski and his wife Donna of Nescopeck,
Edward Maleski and his wife Beth of Brandonville;

Twelve grandchildren;
One great-grandchild.

Preceded in death by her brother, John DeSonne; sisters, Mrs. Emma Keef, and Mrs. Marie Daly.
