Edna M. Brown

Mrs. Edna M. (Mauger) Brown, age 99, of Newark, Del., died Sunday, May 25, 2008, at Heartland Hospice in Wilmington, Del.

Edna was a member of Trinity U.C.C. of Tamaqua, Pa., and she belonged to the Pilgram Chapter #137 Order of Eastern Star, Tamaqua, Pa.

Edna, owned and operated Brown's Childrens store in Tamaqua for 25 years.

Born in Mahanoy City, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Edward and Charlotte (Jones) Mauger.

She is survived by her

One Daughter,
Mrs. Nancy J. (Brown) Kline of Sicklerville, N.J.

One Son,
Dr. Kenneth H. Brown and his wife Patty of Newark, Del.

Four grandchildren, Patricia Lee "Ticia" Welch, Nancy Lee Dugger, Robert and Barry Kline;

Ten great-grandchildren

Preceded in death by her Husband, Kenneth C. Brown who died September 18, 1990;

Arrangements are being handled by E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, Inc., 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pa., where the family will receive friends from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM Thursday, May 29, 2008.

Funeral service will be at E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, Inc. at 11:00 AM Thursday, May 29, 2008 , Rev. Dr., David W. Grant officiating.

Interment will be at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Tamaqua, Pa.
