Earl W. "Bill" Knepper, longtime tenured Weatherly High School teacher, coach, and administrator, of North Street Weatherly, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 21, 2021, at home while in the loving care of his wife of 58 years Joyce M. (Weston) Knepper at 80 years of age.
Born Sunday, February 9, 1941 in Weatherly, Pennsylvania the son of the late Earl E., and Virginia H. (Miller) Knepper. Earl was also predeceased by; granddaughter, Sarah Jane Moyer; brother, Barry L. Knepper.
Surviving are son, William D. Knepper and his wife Melissa of Weatherly; daughter, Lisa J. Moyer and her husband William of Weatherly; sister, Nancy L. Kuzmission wife of Peter of Oneida; grandchildren, William, Rebecca Ormiston and her husband Christian, Samantha; great grandchild, Oliver Ormiston. Nieces and nephews also survive Bill.
A 1959 graduate of Weatherly High School, Bill matriculated to East Stroudsburg State College earning his B.S. in Biology. Bill returned home to Weatherly teaching high school Biology, coaching both the boys, and girls basketball teams to District 11 championships. Bill served as Vice Principal of the High School. Bill retired from the Weatherly School District after 33 years of service.
A devoted member of Centenary United Methodist Church of Weatherly, Bill served on the Christian's Servants Ministry, and was a Lay Leader. An avid outdoorsman, Bill liked to hunt, and fish. He was a member of Silver Ridge Hunting Club, and Penn Haven Hunting Club of Weatherly. In retirement, Bill pursued his love of golf having worked as groundskeeper at White Birch Golf Course of Barnesville, and Sands Spring Golf Course of Drums as cart keeper.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Tuesday, November 23, 2021, from the funeral home.
A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday November 24, 2021 at 11 o'clock A.M. from Centenary United Methodist Church 30 Carbon Street Weatherly, Pennsylvania 18255, Pastor Daniel S. Meader to officiate.
