Earl D. Dimmig

Earl D. Dimmig, age 90, formerly of S. Hill Top Rd., New Ringgold, died Wednesday, November 9, 2011, at the Orwigsburg Center, Orwigsburg, Pa.

Born in Durham, Pa., he was the son of the late Nelson and Flora (Cole) Dimmig.

Earl operated an Auto Body repair business in New Ringgold for many years. He was a Army veteran, having served in the Army Air Corp.

Earl enjoyed playing guitar, singing and composing country songs.

He is survived by his

Three Daughters,
Deborah (Dimmig) Skripnek of Tamaqua,
Valeria (Dimmig) Fogarty of New Ringgold,
Ealine (Dimmig) Shaner of Delaware;

Three Sons,
Edward "Skip" R. Dimmig of New Philadelphia,
Douglas E. Dimmig and his wife Laura of Auburn,
Earl D., Jr. of Easton

Twenty grandchildren;
Thirteen great grandchildren;

Companion, Blanche Marchalk;

Preceded in death by his son, Raymond Dimmig, and six siblings.

Arrangements are being handled by the E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, Inc. 655 East Broad Street, Tamaqua, Pa. 18252.

Services with Military Honors, will be held Sat. November 12, 2011 at 11 o'clock A.M., from the funeral home.

Friends may call from 9:30 A.M. until time of services.
