Dorothy B. Rummel, 89 of 201 East Broad Street Tamaqua, passed away on Saturday, August 17, 2019, at St. Lukes Miners Memorial Medical Ctr. in Coaldale, Pennsylvania.
Born Friday, June 13, 1930 in Barnesville the daughter of the late Alvin and Mae (Schlear) Herring. She was also predeceased by; husband, Edward R. Rummel; sisters, Edith Jobe, Irene Sanders; brother Kenneth Herring.Surviving are sons, Donald Rummel and his wife Faith, Terry Rummel; daughters, Sandy Yearick wife of Rev. Kenneth and Susan G. Paulus with who she resided; 8 grand children; 11 great grand children and 1 great great grandchild.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. of 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pennsylvania 18252. (570) 668-2550
Private services will be held at Ft. Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, Pennsylvania.
