Dorothy "Dotsy" M. Inama

Dorothy M "Dotsy" (Connelly) Inama, mother, grandmother, age 82, of Lewis St., Brockton, passed away peacefully Friday, March 3, 2017, at Schuylkill Center Genesis Elder Care, Pottsville with her family by her side.
The widow of Francis "Spirit" Inama, who passed away March 12, 2004, Dorothy was a member of Holy Cross R.C.C., New Philadelphia and the former St. Bartholomew's R.C.C., Brockton, where she was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary.
She was a graduate of Blythe Township High School and she had worked in the textile industry. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother. Dorothy enjoyed cooking, cleaning, shopping, music and most of all spending time with her family and friends. She was at her best when surrounded by the ones she loved.
Born in Brockton on October 19, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Michael Connelly and the late Dorothy (Keip) Connelly.
She is survived by; Daughters, Deborah A Wertman, wife of Allen "Butch" of Brockton; Diane M Throne, wife of Jacob of Orwigsburg; Daughter-in-law, Kathy (Lane) Inama of Nesquehoning wife of her son the late Francis M. Inama, who passed away March 19, 2013; Six Grandchildren: Ryan, Erik and his wife Lindsay Wertman, Nicole Inama, Megan Inama Streisel and her husband Mark, Jacob and Maya Throne. Many nieces and nephews also survive her.
Preceding her in death in addition to her parents, husband and son were brothers, Michael, Bernard and Gerald Connelly; sister, Mary Greenaway.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. 655 E. Broad St., Tamaqua, PA where the family will receive friends on Monday, March 13, 2017 from 6-8 PM and on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 from 9:30 to 10:15 AM.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at 11 o'clock AM from Holy Cross R.C.C. 99 Valley St., New Philadelphia PA.
Interment will be at St. Bartholomew's R.C.C.C., Brockton.
Memorials in her honor may be sent to the Alzheimer's Association Greater Pennsylvania Chapter 57 N Franklin St., Wilkes-Barre, PA 18701 or to the Brockton Fire Co., 311 Woodland Road, Brockton, PA 17925.
