Dorothy (Kostick) McDonald, 76 years of age, wife, mother, and grand-ma, of Weatherly, passed away at 5:40 P.M. on Wednesday January 16, 2013 at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Hospital in Wilkes-Barre.

Survived by her husband of 59 years, Paul J. McDonald.

Dorothy retired from Unilever of Flemington, N.J. after 17 years as a Microbiologist. Her life was spent devoted to the love and care of her family.

She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes R.C.C., Weatherly.

Born in McAdoo the daughter of the late Roman and Mary (Kurdy) Kostic.

She is also survived by her,

Sharon McDonald of Weatherly;

Three sons,
Paul T. McDonald and his wife Debie of Pocono Lakes,
John McDonald of Mobile, Al, Thomas McDonald and his wife Karen of Jamison, Pa.;

Three grandchildren, Grace, Sean, and Ryan;

Sister,
Mrs. Mary (Kostick) Shigo of Hillsborough, NJ.;

Many nieces and nephews;

Preceded in death by brothers, John, Steve, Michael, and Paul Kostick; sisters Mrs. Ann Cherba, Mrs. Lovina Yanal, Mrs. Irene Wilinsky, Mrs. Helen Wilinsky, and Mrs. Stella Kubilis.

A Mass of Christian Burial will celebrated Monady Janauary 21, 2013 at 10 o'clock A.M. from Our Lady of Lourdes R.C.C. 318 Plane Street Weatherly, Pa., Rev. Floyd Caesar to officiate.

Friends shall be received at the Philip J. Jeffries Funeral Home on Sunday evening January 20, 2013 from 7 to 9:00 P.m. and on Monday morning January 21, 2013 from 8:30 A.M. until 9:30 A.M.

Interment, St. Nicholas R.C.C. Cemetery, Weatherly.
