Dorothy King, 92 years of age, beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, of First Street Coaldale, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 4, 2021, at home while in the loving care of her husband of 68 years, John King, Sr., and her son whom she adored, John King, Jr..
Born Monday, September 9, 1929 in Pottsville, Pennsylvania. the daughter of the late Joseph S., and Cecelia (Nowak) Zelinsky. Dorothy was also predeceased by; sisters, Anna Mae Kotch, Patricia A. Alonge; brother, Joseph A. "Chinnie" Zelinsky.
Surviving in addition to her husband, and son are; sister-in-law, Mary Ann Zelinsky; brother-in-law, Bernie Alonge. Many nieces, nephews, as well as brother and sister-in-laws also survive Dorothy.
A Tamaqua High School graduate, Dorothy worked many years in the Textile Industry. She was a member of St. Joseph's R.C. Church of the Panther Valley. Dorothy enjoyed reading, baking, and tending to her garden. Dorothy looked forward to preparing holiday meals and the excitement of spending time with her family.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 10 o'clock AM on Tuesday November 9, 2021 from St. Joseph's R.C.C. located at 452 East Ludlow Street Summit Hill, Pennsylvania 18250. Rev. Robert George to officiate. Friends may call in church from 9:00 A.M. until 9:45 A.M.
Interment will be in Sky-View Memorial Park, Tamaqua, Pennsylvania.
