Widow of Donald J. Herring who died on August 26, 1998.
A 1940 Tamaqua High School graduate, Dorothy worked in sales until marrying and raising her son Scott.
She was a member of St. Jerome R.C.C. of Tamaqua.
Born in Schiulkill County, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Purcell and the late Dorothy (Ditchey) Purcell-Hasson.
She is survived by her

Preceded in death by a sister, Mary Purcell; brother, Thomas M. Purcell
