Mrs. Dorothy A (Zecoski) Getz, age 88, of Tamaqua, died Thursday, January 31, 2013, at St Luke's Hospital, Bethlehem, Pa.
She was the widow of Frank R. Getz who passed away in 1985.
Dorothy had been employed by JE Morgan Knitting in Quality Control, retiring after 38 years of service.
She was a member of SS. Peter & Paul R.C.C. of Tamaqua where she was a member of the Rosary Society.
Dorothy was a graduate of Mt. Carmel High School.
Born in Mt. Carmel, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Pauline Zecoski.
She is survived by her
Sister-in-law.
Catherine Einhouse;
Brothers-in-law,
Paul Getz; Dr. Oscar Weaver; and Louis Loeper and his wife Peg;
Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.
Preceded in death by her brother, Lambert Zecoski; sisters, Aldona and Agnes Zecoski, Rita Argeski, Theresa Weaver, and Virginia Loeper.
Funeral Arrangements are being handled by E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home 655 E. Broad St., Tamaqua, Pa. where the family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 5, 2013 from 9:30-10:30 AM.
Mass of Christian Burial will be on Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at 11 o'clock AM at SS. Peter & Paul R.C.C. 307 Pine St., Tamaqua, Pa., Reverend William Linkchorst to officiate.
Interment at SS. Cyril & Methodius Cemetery, Nesquehoning, Pa.
