Doris M. Polivka

Mrs. Doris M. (Miller) Polivka, age 76, of White Haven, Pa., died,Thursday, October 6, 2011, at Kindred Care Unit in Wilkes-Barre, Pa.

A Weatherly High School graduate, Doris was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church of Weatherly.

Doris worked in the Textile Industry, and for Wal-Mart at the Hazleton store. She liked to bowl.

Born in Weatherly, Buck Mt., she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Jessie (Treon) Miller.

She is survived by her

One Sister,
Betty Bogansky of Flemington, N.J.;

One Brother,
Gordon Miller and his wife Catherine of Weatherly;

Nieces, and nephews;

Preceded in death by her husband, John Polivka in 1987; brother, William Weiss in 2007.

Graveside Memorial Service Sat. October 22, 2011, 10 o' clock A.M. at Union Cemetery of Weatherly.
