Doris M Gerhart, age 75, of Spring St., Weatherly, died Wednesday, September 16, 2015, at Schuylkill Medical Center South, Pottsville.
She retired from Weatherwood Nursing Home after 42 years of service in Central Supply.
Doris was a member of Salem U.C.C. of Weatherly.
She was a 1958 graduate of Weatherly High School and she had been a Boy Scouts Den Leader and Coach.
Born in Weatherly on April 9, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Alex Gerhart and the late Edna (Schnauffer) Gerhart.
She is survived by her
Nephew, whom she raised as her son, Matt Gerhart and his wife Jan of Palmyra, PA;
Great-Nephews, Alex and David Gerhart.
She was preceded in death by her sisters, Mrs. Thelma Mauie, Mrs. Mary Bolish, Mrs. Betty Mehalko and Alice Jean Gerhart; brothers, Emory, Harold, Marvin, Warren, and Carl.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Philip J. Jeffries Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 211 First Street , Weatherly, PA
Graveside Service will be held on September 24, 2015 at 11 o'clock AM at Union Cemetery, Weatherly, PA.
