Mrs. Doris M (Reichelderfer) Banavage, age 76, formerly of New Ringgold, died Tuesday, November 22, 2011, at Seton Manor in Orwigsburg.
She had been employed by the former J.E. Morgan Knitting Mills as an inspector.
Doris was a member of Trinity U.C.C. of Tamaqua.
She was a Tamaqua High School graduate.
Born in Coaldale, she was the daughter of the late Harry Reichelderfer and the late Esther (Kerr) Reichelderfer-Bachert.
She is survived by her
One Son,
Bruce W Banavage and his wife April of Nesquehoning
One Brother,
Robert Bachert of Coaldale
Sister-in-law,
Megan Reichelderfer of Lake Hauto
Two grandchildren, Avery and Hunter.
Preceded in death by her husband, William J. Banavage on 1-26-1994; brother, Harry W. Reichelderfer, Sr. on 10-7-2002.
Arrangements are being handled by E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, Inc., 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pa., where the family will receive friends on Saturday, November 26, 2011 from 9:30-11:00 AM.
Funeral Service will be on Saturday, November 26, 2011 at 11 o'clock AM at the E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, Reverend Thomas H. Reinsel officiating.
Interment at Sky View Memorial Park, Tamaqua.
