Mr. Donald Arthur Washburn, age 78, formerly of Hamilton, NJ, passed away Thursday, March 1, 2012 in Hellertown, Pa.
Having had a broken heart since the death of his son, Todd Washburn on 1-13-2000, Don is finally at peace in heaven
with Todd and Jesus.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Shirley L. (Bendy) Washburn.
A member of Groveville United Methodist Church, Groveville, NJ.,
Donald was a Navy Veteran of the Korean War.
Donald, retired from Coca Cola Foods of Hightstown, NJ. He loved camping at Rosemount.
Survived by,
One Daughter, Traci Moyer and her husband Lenny of Tamaqua;
Two Sons, Troy Washburn and his wife Peggy of Hellertown, and Timothy Washburn and his wife Jennifer of Saint Clair;
Two Brothers, Gordon Washburn and his wife Pearl of Trenton, NJ and John Washburn and his wife Karen of Southampton;
One Sister Frances and her husband Mark Wolszyn;
Grandchildren, Zachary and Sabrina Moyer of Tamaqua, Jillian, Kendall, Marissa, Kirra Washburn of Hellertown, Cody Shapell, Nathan,and Mason Washburn of Saint Clair, Mackenzie, Madison and Evan Washburn of Las Vegas, NV.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday March 8, 2012 from the Groveville United Methodist Church 447 Church Street Groveville, NJ. 08620 at 12 noon, Pastor Fran B. Ballinger to officiate.
Friends may call in church from 11:00 A.M. until time of services.
Interment with Military Honors, Groveville Cemetery.
