Donald Charles "Skip" Snyder, 85 years of age of Tamaqua, Pennsylvania passed away on Saturday, March 5, 2016, at Arcadia Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Trenton, New Jersey.
Preceded in death by his wife Janice (McLaughlin) Snyder on February 25, 2013, Donald is survived by; daughters, Nancy E. Ervin of Ohio, Miriam B. Snyder of Hamilton, NJ and his caregiver, Chris L. Snyder also of Hamilton, NJ; sister, Barbara Powell; six grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
A graduate of William McFarland High School of Bordentown, NJ, Skip served honorably in the United States Army during the Korean War. He retired as a research Chemist from Square-D Corporation. Fostering his love of the sciences, he was an avid reader of science and electronic books, and enjoyed watching the NASA channel to address his curiosity of Space.
Skip had a great sense of humor and was always kind to all.
Born Thursday, September 4, 1930 in Trenton, New Jersey, he was the son of the late Calvin M., and Florence(Kafer)Snyder. He was also preceded in death by sisters, Mrs. Lois Patersity, and Mrs. Florence Kosco; brothers, Calvin M. Snyder, Jr., and Robert Snyder.

Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held on April 8, 2016 at 10:30 AM at Washington Crossings National Cemetery 830 Highland Rd., Newtown, PA 18940.
