Donald L. Morgan, 97 years of age of Entwistle Street, Weatherly, Pennsylvania passed away on Sunday evening, December 13, 2015, at Weatherwood Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Weatherly, Pennsylvania.
Widower of Marian E. (Hinkle) Morgan.
A 1935 Weatherly High School graduate, Donald served honorably in the United States Army during WWII, and retired from the Weatherly Post Office having worked there over twenty-nine years. Donald enjoyed gardening, and was a longtime member of Centenary United Methodist Church of Weatherly.
Born Saturday, January 12, 1918 in Groveville, New Jersey, son of the late Franklin, and Katherine (Lownie) Morgan.
Surviving are daughters;
Donna E. Morgan of Hazle Township,
Janet L. Witner wife of Brian of Weatherly, with whom he resided,
Michelle A. Wojciechowski wife of Thomas of Port Clinton , OH;
Six grandchildren, Paul, and Dianna Tarone, Jeremy, and Jeffrey Witner, Thomas, and Morgan Wojciechowski;
Three great grandchildren, Kaden, Cassidy, and Alexandria.
Preceded in death by sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Mae Kleppinger, and Mrs. Naomi Eroh; brothers, Ernest, Cecil, and Clifford Morgan.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Philip J. Jeffries Funeral Home & Cremation Services of 211 First Street Weatherly, Pennsylvania, (570) 427-4231.
A Funeral service will be at 11 o'clock A.M. on Saturday December 19, 2015 from the funeral home, Rev. Charles Englehart to officiate.
The family will receive friends from 9:30 AM until time of services on Saturday, December 19, 2015, at the funeral Home.
Interment with Military Honors will be in Union Cemetery Weatherly, Pennsylvania.
