Donald E. Morgan, 89 years of age, formerly of Willingboro, New Jersey, passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2021, at Mountain City Health and Rehabilitation Center in Hazleton.
Born Saturday, May 16, 1931 in Hazleton, Pennsylvania, and raised on Third Street in Weatherly, the son of the late James Ernest, and Dorothy N. (Young) Morgan. Donald was also predeceased by; his beloved wife, Ruth (Weston) Morgan; sister, Patricia Borman; brother, James E. Morgan.
Surviving are sons, David A. Morgan and his wife Donna of Beverly, NJ, Thomas E. Morgan and his companion Cheryl Reiss of White Haven, Donald E. Morgan and his wife Beverly of Beverly, NJ; daughter, Suzette Morris and husband John of Pinallis, Florida; sister, Sandra Vandermiller and her husband Richard of Orange Park, Florida; 12 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren.
A 1941 graduate of Weatherly High School, Donald served honorably in the United States Army during the Korean War. He retired from Princeton Research as an Electronic Trouble Shooter. Donald, liked gardening, and was an avid collector of model trains. Donald was a devoted Christian.
