Donald M. Glasgow, 87, formerly of Bucks County, Pennsylvania passed away on Thursday, February 20, 2020, at Lehigh Valley Hospital- Hazleton.
Born Sunday, November 6, 1932 in Somerton, Pennsylvania, the son of the late Matthew Glasgow and the late Belle Levans Glasgow. He was the husband of the late Annette Hartman Glasgow. Surviving are; daughter, Deborah Miletto and her husband, Louis of Weatherly, with whom he resided; son, Douglas Glasgow of Perkasie, PA, sister, Elizabeth Gendall of Line Lexington, PA; grandchildren, Rachel and her husband Robert, Bradford and his wife Tonia, Caitlin, Jenell, Tyffani and her husband Bryan, Allison, Rosemary and her husband Dwayne; great grandchildren, Emma, Lilly, Dante, Dominika, Ariana, Dwayne Jr, Chiara, Kasia, and Kylie. Many nieces and nephews also survive Donald. He was also predeceased by his son, Donald Glasgow, daughter-in- law Sharon Glasgow, sisters, Edith Koehler, Dorothy Bauer, Marian Simmers and Ellen Cox. A graduate of Central Bucks High School, Donald served his country honorably during the Korean War as a member of the United States Army. He retired from Leeds & Northrup. Donald enjoyed spending time with his family, camping, berry picking, reading, and watching both Westerns and Polka dancing.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society Carbon County, 33 W. Ridge Street, Lansford, PA 18232. A graveside service will be held on Saturday February 20, 2021 at 11 o'clock at Beulah Cemetery, 238 Almshouse Road, New Britain, PA 18901.
