Dolores M. Lettiere, of Weatherly, passed away peacefully on Thursday morning, January 24, at Heritage Hill Senior Living Community in Weatherly. She would’ve celebrated her 93 birthday on February 9th. Born in Beaver Meadows, the daughter of the late John and Carlotta (Delfovo) Trettel. Dolores attended BeaverMeadows Elementary School where her sister, Josephine Trettel, taught her. She graduated from Hazleton High School in 1944, and was employed by Tung Sol in Weatherly where she met her beloved husband, Neil Lettiere, to whom she was married for 44 wonderful yearsuntil his death in 2000. Dolores loved her community, she was a member of the Flower Club and the Community Chest. She was a devoted member of Our Lady of Lourdes R.C.C. where she sang in the choir for many years, and was a member of the St. Nicholas Prime Timers Club. Dolores, was a long tenured Weatherly School District employee, initially as a cafeteria aide, and then as secretary to the High School Principal for many years until her retirement. She always remembered those years fondly and loved her interactions with the students. Survived by; her loving daughters, Mary Marusak of Weatherly, Annette Cremens and her husband Charles of Maryland; grandchildren, Alison Marusak, Amy DeCusatis and her husband Anthony, Daniel Cremens and ScottCremens, who were the light of her life. Dolores was also predeceased by; sister, Josephine Trettel; brothers, John, Charles, Lewis and Joseph Trettel. She leaves behind a legacy of love for her family above all else.
