A graduate of Wauwatosa West High School, he spent many years working in the hospitality and public utility customer service profession, before becoming self-employed.
Born in Waukesha, WI, he is the son of Dick Pfoertsch, Sr. and Mitzi (Schmitz) Pfoertsch of Wauwatosa, WI.
He is also survived by his;
Life partner of 12 years, Tony Rodrique;
One Sister,
Jill (Pfoertsch) North wife of Dave of Coligate, Wis.;
Nieces, Lauren, Kelly, and Tessa of Colgate, WI.
