Dennis L. Krell, Jr.
August 3, 1970 — March 17, 2013
Dennis L. Krell Jr., 42, of Tamaqua, passed away suddenly on Sunday, March 17, 2013, at his home in New Ringgold, PA. Born in Coaldale, he was the son of Dennis Krell, Sr. and Kathryn (Eltringham) Krell.
A 1988 Tamaqua Area High School graduate, Dennis was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Dennis was a Professional Bass fisherman who competed in the B.A.S.S. Bassmaster's Tournament and the FLW Tour. He was the manager of the Blue Mountain Ski Area Rental Shop, in Palmerton from 1993 to 2009. Most recently, Dennis' passion was breeding Thoroughbred Horses.
In addition to his loving parents, he is survived by his son Sean , by his brother, Chris M. Krell and his wife Marci of Manheim, PA. His adoring nephews, Aiden and Avery and his loving niece, Alivia. His best cousin and friend, Patrick Coleman. As well as his girlfriend, Terry Jones. Also surviving are many fond aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family will receive friends from 6:00PM to 8:00PM on Thursday, March 21, 2013 and from 10:00AM to 11:00AM on Friday, March 22, 2013 at E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, Inc., 655 East Broad Street, Tamaqua, PA. Funeral services will follow at 11:00AM on Friday. Interment will be at Sky-View Memorial Park in Tamaqua immediately afterwards.
