Dennis W Garber, age 58, of Barnesville, Pa., died Thursday, March 14, 2013, at St Luke's Hospital in Bethlehem.
He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Barbara E. (Bradley) Garber.
Dennis was employed by the Freeland Post Office as a Rural Route Carrier for 30 years.
He was a member of Christ Church of Rush Township and Barnesville.
Dennis was a graduate of Mahanoy Area High School. He was lead vocal and guitar for the group Bandit and he was an avid Nascar fan.
Born in Shenandoah, he was the son of the late Walter and Lettie "Betty" (Herring) Garber.
He is also survived by his

Justin A. Kaiser of Delano;
daughters,
April M. Yedsena wife of Lenny of Frackville and Narissa N. Garber at home;
sisters,
Joanne Tuckett of Tamaqua; Linda Humes wife of Charles of Barnesville; Karen Garber and Brenda Neifert both of Shenandoah;
Four Grandchildren,
Anthony, Lenny, Brooke and Briley;
Many Nieces and Nephews.
Preceded in death by his brother, James F. Garber.
Arrangements are being handled by E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, Inc., 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pa.
Funeral Service will be held on Monday, March 18, 2013 at 7 o'clock PM at Christ Church of Rush Township and Barnesville Field & Flexer Rd., Tamaqua, Pa., Reverend Janet Kline to officiate.
Call from 5-7 PM in the church.
Private Interment at the convenience of the family.
