Dennis W. Dannenfelser, Sr.

Dennis W. Dannenfelser, Sr., husband, father, and grandfather, age 68, of Pottsville, died Monday, January 20, 2014, at Schuylkill Medical Center South in Pottsville.

Survived by his wife of forty-eight years, Elba S. (Cruz) Dannenfelser.

Dennis, retired form Teamsters Local #945, having worked as a Sanitation Supervisor for Acme Sanitation in Jersey City, NJ.

Dennis enjoyed painting and the companionship of his cats.

Born in Levittown, Long Island, he was the son of the late Arthur and Dorothy (Hagemann) Dannenfelser.

He is also survived by his;

Deborah Ann (Dannenfelser) Salemi wife of doug of Denville, N.J.;

Sons,
Dennis W. Dannenfelser, Jr. and his wife Diana of Lyndhurst, N.J.,
Joseph W. Dannenfelser and his wife Melissa of Loranger, La.,
Michael W. Dannenfelser and his wife Traci of Brockton;

Twenty Six grandchildren
Six great-grandchildren;

Four brothers and five sisters survive him.

Preceded in death by his son David Dannenfelser; and brother Arthur Price.

Arrangements are being handled by E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pa., where the family will receive friends from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM Friday, January 24, 2014.
