Mrs. Delores Jean (Curren) Kammerdiener, age 69, of Tamaqua, Pa., died Sunday, August 19, 2007, at St. Lukes Bethlehem in Bethlehem, Pa.
She was a member St. Jerome Roman Catholic Church, Tamaqua, PA. She was also a member of Tamaqua American Legion; West Penn Gun Club; Andreas Sporting Club; Commanders Club of Disabled American Veterans. Jean helped organize Girl Scouts of West Penn Twp. and was active in the organization of the Tamaqua Bicentenial Celebration. A tireless volunteer at church, and visiting the elderly & shut-in's.
She is the daughter of Howard Curren and Margaret (Blose) Curren, of Angola, NY.
Survived by her husband of 51 years, Bernard E. Kammerdiener, Sr.;

Melissa S. (Kammerdiener) wife of Lynn Walter, Jr., of Quakake, Pa.
Tammi (Kammerdiener), wife of Robert Eickhoff of South Tamaqua, Pa.

Robert E. Kammerdiener & wife, Lori of McAdoo, Pa.
Jon Kammerdiener & wife, Karen of Easton, Pa.

Arrangements are being handled by Robert S. Nester Funeral Home, Inc., 2066 West Penn Pike, New Ringgold, Pa., where the family will receive friends from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM Thursday, August 23, 2007 and from 8:30 AM to 9:15 AM Friday, August 24, 2007.
Prayer Services Thursday evening at 7:00 PM from the funeral home.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Jerome R.C.C. WEst Broad Street Tamaqua, Pa. at 10:00 AM Friday, August 24, 2007.
Interment will be at Sky-View Memorial Park in Tamaqua, Pa.
