David F. Wittig, husband, father, grandfather, 74 years of age of East Broad Street, Tamaqua, passed away on Monday, September 5, 2016, at St. Luke's Miners Memorial Medical Ctr. in Coaldale, Pennsylvania.
Survived by his wife, Carol (Campbell) Wittig; sons, Mark Wittig and his wife Lillian of Tresckow, David Wittig and his wife Deborah of Nescopec, Robert Wittig of Tresckow, Conrad Wittig of Hazleton, grand children, Mark, Jonah, Gabriel, and Ashley. Many nieces, and nephews also survive David.
A graduate of Hazleton High School, David drove truck for many years.
Born Saturday, November 8, 1941 in Hazleton, the son of the late Conrad, and Hannah Wittig, he was also predeceased by a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Hoppy; brother, Conrad Wittig.
