David Francis Frye

David Francis Frye, 79 years of age, of Tamaqua, passed away Sunday, December 14, 2014, at St. Luke's Miners Memorial in Coaldale.

Born in Quakake, the son of the late John, and Emma (Garber) Frye.

Dave was a Boot Legger and loved to play guitar. He helped many people in Tamaqua running errands and shoveling snow.

Mae (Frye) Hope wife of Tom of Tamaqua,
Ethel (Frye) Thompson of Quakake,
Marion Stankewitch of Andreas,
Amanda (Lyons) Southam, of New Ringgold,
Sadie (Frye) Kotchmar wife of Stephen of Tamaqua;

Brothers:
Charles Frye,
Robert Frye and his wife Mary both of Quakake;

Preceded in death by sister, Mrs. Carrie Kranch; brothers, infant twin Daniel, Lewis, Larney, Jimmy, Howie, John, Tommy, and James Frye, William, Mikey, and John Lyons; Robert Kranch-Frye adopted son;

Many nieces, and nephews survive Dave.

Arrangements are entrusted to the E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pa.

Funeral service will be at E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home & Cremation Services at 11 o'clock AM, Wednesday, December 17, 2014.

A Gathering of Friends will take place Wednesday morning at the funeral home from 9:30 A.M. until time of services.

Interment will be at Sky View Memorial Park, Hometown.
