Pastor David C. Eroh

Pastor David C. Eroh, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfatherand Uncle, 77 years of age, of Fairview St., Weatherly, Pennsylvania passed away on Thursday, July 14, 2016, at Weatherwood Nursing Home & Rehab.

Survived by his beloved wife of 51 years, Carol (O’Brian) Eroh; sons, Jonathan Eroh and his wife Christine of Weatherly, Nathan Eroh and his wife Shyanne of Weatherly; 3 Daughters Elizabeth C. Maleski and her husband Edward of Brandonville, MaryRuth Eidem and her husband Matthew of Lattimer Mines, Grace Brown and her husband Travis of Weatherly; Sister Betty Swartley of Haddonfield, NJ ; 11 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren Nieces and Nephews.

David served 5 years in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He worked as a painter with his father and brothers before entering the ministry. He served as the Pastor of Lehighton Bible Church for 42 years and then as Pastor of Grace Bible Church for the three more years.

A member Weatherly American Legion Post #360 (any other organizations)

Born in Weatherly Saturday March 25, 1939 he was the son of the late Henry and Sarah (Hinkle) Eroh. David was also predeceased by Brothers Charles and Philip Eroh In WWII, Eugene, Henry, Willard, Allan and Gerald; Sisters Gertrude Kauffman and Jane Wagner.

Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to the E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home& Cremation Services, Inc. 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pennsylvania 18252. (570) 668-2550.

Funeral Services will be held at 8:00 PM Monday July 18, 2016 at the Phillip J. Jeffries Funeral home 211 First St. Weatherly PA 18255 with Rev. Tim Getz officiating. A gathering of friends will take place from 6:00-8:00 PM Monday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Weatherly American Legion Post #360 PO Box 146 Weatherly PA 18255. Burial with Military Honors will be Private at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville
