Darlene N. Tyson

Mrs. Darlene N. (Lutz) Tyson, age 71, of Allentown Road, Quakertown, Pa., died Saturday, July 4, 2009, at home in Quakertown, Pa.

A 1955 Tamaqua High School graduate, Darlene retired from Artistic Glass Products as a laminator in 2002.

She was a member of the First United Church of Christ of Quakertown, Pa., and enjoyed collecting indian artifacts, and cultivating her Lenni Lenape heritage.

Born in West Penn Twp., she was the daughter of the late Norman and Mabel (Kistler) Lutz.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Donald W. Tyson;

Two Sons,
Kevin Tyson and his wife Kathy of Andreas, Pa.
Kerry Tyson of Quakertown, Pa.;

Two Sisters,
Linda (Lutz) Tyson wife of David of Tamaqua, Pa.
Betty (Lutz) Seip of Topton, Pa.;

Two Brothers,
Glenn Lutz and his wife Eileen of New Ringgold, Pa.
Woodrow Lutz and his wife Susan of Shoemakersville, Pa.;

Sister-in-law Rev. Anna Lutz of Lancaster;

Preceded in death by her brother, Rev. Earlin H. Lutz,

Arrangements are being handled by Robert S. Nester Funeral Home, Inc., 2066 West Penn Pike, New Ringgold, Pa.,

The family will receive friends from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM Wed, July 8, 2009, at the First United Church of Christ 151 South Fourth St. Quakertown, Pa. 18951

A second visitation will be held at Zion Stone Church of West Penn Twp. Cemetery Road, from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM Thursday, July 9, 2009.

Funeral service will be at Zion Stone Church of West Penn Twp. at 11:00 o'clock AM Thursday, July 9, 2009 Reverend Michael A. Frost and Reverend Dr. Donald E. Moyer officiating.

Interment will be at Zion Stone Church Cemetery of West Penn Twp. of New Ringgold, Pa.
