Dan D. Freeman

Call him Dan, Danny, Pappy or Pop. But don’t call him Daniel. That would’ve been way too formal for the sweet man from McKeansburg, Pennsylvania who passed away at the Mt. Joy Hospice on April 23, 2018, at the age of 86 after a brief illness. Pop, whose given name was Daniel D. Freeman, was a beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, great grandfather, friend to many and enemy of none. He lived life well, dedicated to his family, friends, community and country. There were no strangers in his life, only friends he hadn’t yet met. To be fortunate enough to know Pop was to be in the company of a larger than life personality, housed in a compact and powerful frame.
