Dale L. Edmondson, of Rolling Mill Ave., Tamaqua, Pennsylvania, 68 years of age, passed away on Sunday, November 27, 2016, at home while in the care of his brother's and their families.
Widower of Nancy (Dietrich) Edmondson he is survived by; brothers, Earl D. Edmondson and his wife Sharon, William K. Edmondson and his wife Barbara both of Tamaqua; step sons, Lester, Joey, and Robert Dietrich; godmother, Mrs. Katherine Kunkel of Tamaqua; grandson, Alan. Many cousins, nieces, and nephews also survive Dale.
A Tamaqua High School graduate, Dale served honorably in the United States Army. He retired from the former J. E. Morgan Knitting Mills as a sewing machine mechanic. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. Dale 's constant companions were his dogs Abby and Bandit.
Born Wednesday, March 17, 1948 in Coaldale, Pennsylvania son of the late Joseph and Mary E. (Ohl) Edmondson. Dale was also predeceased by brothers, Joseph F., and Cory Lee Edmondson.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. of 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pennsylvania 18252. (570) 668-2550.
A Funeral service will be at 11 o'clock AM on Wednesday November 30, 2016 from the funeral home. Friends shall be received form 9:30 A.M. until time of services on Wednesday.
Interment with Military Honors will be conducted at Sky-View Memorial Park, Tamaqua, Pennsylvania.
