Curtis George Hankey

Curtis George Hankey of Titusville Florida passed away on Tuesday, June 21, 2022.
Born June 20, 1934, and raised in Tamaqua, PA, he was the son of the late Edwin and Grace (Hankey) Robertshaw.

Curtis was a United States Army Veteran serving during the Korean War from which he was Honorably discharged in 1961.

Curtis worked as a foreman for Florida Power and Light Company for 37 years until his retirement.
Curtis loved the great outdoors, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and boating. He especially loved spending time with his faithful canine companion “Lady”.

Curtis is survived by his daughter Sylvia Hankey of Mims, Florida, and a sister Gloria Bensinger of Tamaqua, Pennsylvania, Grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews, and many dear friends.

Curtis was also preceded in death by his son, Phillip Hankey of Titusville, Florida, a sister, Doris (Robertshaw) Knowles of Tamaqua, Pennsylvania, and his twin brother, Kenneth Hankey of Summit Hill, Pennsylvania.

Interment with Military Honors to be bestowed Cape Canaveral National Cemetery, Mims, Florida.
