Cortiss D. Watkins

Mrs. Cortiss D. (Kleppinger) Watkins, age 87 of Weatherly, formerly of Lansford, died Sunday, April 24, 2011, at Hazleton General Hospital in Hazleton.

A Homemaker, Cortiss was Baptist by faith.

Born in Mauch Chunk, she was the daughter of the late Leslie and Frieda (Dick) Kleppinger.

She is survived by her

Two Daughters,
Dorothy M. (Watkins) Ettinger wife of Rev. Robert of Cold Point, Pa.;
Cortiss F. (Watkins) Johnson wife of Rev. Clarence of Deptford, NJ;

Two Sons,
William H. Watkins of Telford, Pa.,
Mark John Watkins and his wife Jill of Barto, Pa.;

Seventeen grandchildren
Fourteen great-grandchildren
One great great grandchild;

Preceded in death by her husband on Dec. 26, 1982, William H. Watkins; daughter, Ruth M. Hoffman; brothers, William, and George Kleppinger; sister, Mrs. Frieda Eicoff
