Corinne C. Pena

Corinne C. (Curtis) Pena, age 28, of Washington St. Tamaqua, Pa., died Thursday, July 28, 2011, at St. Lukes Hospital in Bethlehem, surrounded by her family.

Corinne, was a 2001 graduate of Oxford High School, and earned her L.P. N. certificate from Lehigh C.C.C.. She worked at Mountain City Nursing Home in Hazleton, until taking ill.

She was a loving and devoted mother.

Born in Oxford, Chester County, Pa., she was the daughter Kathy Curtis, and the late Cornelius Curtis, Sr..

She is survived by her husband Alexis S. Pena;

One Daughter,
Chanelle M. Pena;

Two Sons,
Demitrios Hanby,
Damon Hanby all at home;

Two Brothers,
Cornelius Curtis, Jr. and his wife Elizabeth of Oxford,
Andrew Curtis and his wife Susan of Albuquerque, NM;

Maternal grandmother, Cecelia Ranck of Quarryville, Paternal grandmother, Hazel Jones of Maryland;

Arrangements are being handled by E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, Inc., 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pa.,

The family will receive friends from Bethany E.C.C. 223 East Broad Street Tamaqua, on Sunday July 31, 2011 from 2 to 4:00 P.M.

A Memorial Service will be at held at Bethany E.C.Church 223 East Broad Street Tamaqua, at 4:00 P.M. Sunday, July 31, 2011, Pastor Kevin Roberts to officiate.
