Constance "Sis" Henry, age 90, of Tamaqua, passed away on Sunday, November 16, 2014, at her residence. She was the widow of Arthur W. Henry who passed away in 2000.
Constance was the daughter of the late George F. Krell and Eva (Sparr) Krell.
She was an active member of Trinity U.C.C., Order of the Eastern Star and graduate of the Tamaqua High School Class of 1942. "Sis" worked in the blasting section of the former Atlas Powder Company for over forty years.
She is survived by:
One Sister:
Mary Brannum of Pottsville, PA;
Two Brothers:
Robert Krell of Jamison, PA;
Roy Krell and his wife, Jeanne of Tamaqua, PA.
Many nieces and nephews who lovingly called her "Aunt Sis".
She was predeceased by her brothers George, Oliver A. "Bud", Donald, John and Charles Krell and her sister Carole Krell.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua. Her family will receive friends from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 22, 2014. The funeral service will be at 11:00 AM. Interment is at Sky-View Memorial Park, Inc.,Tamaqua, PA.
