Mr. Clarence L. Nice, age 85, of Weatherly, formerly of Lewistown Valley, Tamaqua, died Saturday, September 4, 2010, at Weatherwood Nursing & Rehabilitation Ctr., in Weatherly, Pa.
A WWII army veteran, Clarence served with the 12th Armor Tank Corp.
He retired in 1986 from Dana, where he worked in the truck repair plant for 31 years.
Clarence, was a member of the Bethany Evangelical Church, Citizens Fire Co., and New England Fire Co., all of Tamaqua.
Born in Reynolds, he was the son of the late George and Hazel (Wittig) Nice.
He is survived by his

Debra (Nice) Althouse, wife of Jeff of Pottsville;
Three Sons,
George R. Nice of Andreas,
Samuel E. Nice,
Kurt E. Nice, both of Tamaqua;
Three grandchildren;
One great grandchild;
Sister, Mrs. Esther Banis of FL.
Preceded in death by his wife Dorothy (Piech) Nice on Sept. 18, 1999; daughter, Cheryl Nice; son, Bruce E. Nice; sister, Mrs. Hazel A. Bobyar.
