Clara B. (McMichael) Bachert, age 93, of 201 East Broad Street Tamaqua, died Sunday, December 30, 2012, at St. Luke's Miners Memorial in Coaldale.
Widow of Francis Bachert.
A 1937 Tamaqua High School graduate, Clara was a member of the Tamaqua Seniors, and First United Methodist Church of Tamaqua.
She had worked as a clerk for the former York's Drug Store.
Born in Lansford, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Hazel (Miller) McMichael.
Survived by nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by sisters, Mrs. Hazel Kalish, and Mrs. Lucetta Logan; brother, Robert McMichael.
Arrangements are being handled by E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, Inc., 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pa.
Graveside Memorial service will be at St. Jerome R.C.C. Cemetery, at 10 o'clock A.M. Friday, January 4, 2013, Rev. James Cavallero to officiate.
