Christopher P. Ferryman, age 38, of Tamaqua, died Sunday, October 6, 2013, in Lehighton.
Chris was a 1993 Lehighton High School graduate. Upon graduation he entered the United States Airforce serving for ten years as a Propulsion Specialist having consulted on projects with NASA. Chris served a tour of duty in Korea and was discharged at the rank of Sgt.
An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed mountain biking, hiking and camping. Mechanically inclined, he tinkered with anything from cars to home gadgets. Chris's hobby was fixing RC cars.
Born in Palmerton, he is survived by his father, John S. "Jack" Ferryman of Allentown, and mother, Rogene (Ketchledge) Zimmerman and her fiance, Shawn Seidel of Tamaqua.

Arrangements are being handled by E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pa.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday, October 9, 2013 and from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Thursday, October 10, 2013.
Funeral service will be at E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. at 11 o'clock AM Thursday, October 10, 2013, Rev. Marjorie Keiter to officiate.
Interment will be at Sky-View Memorial Park, Tamaqua.
