Christina Castellani

Mrs. Christina (Ventre) Castellani, age 84, of West Bertsch St. Lansford entered into eternal rest, Friday, August 13, 2010, at St. Luke' s Miners Memorial Medical Ctr. in Coaldale, surrounded by her husband and children.

A member of St. Katharine Drexel R.C.C. of Lansford, Christina, had worked as a book keeper for the former Dime Bank of Lansford.

Born in Queens, NY., she was the daughter of the late Saverio and Josephine (Perillo) Ventre.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Perry P. Castellani;

One Daughter,
Chrisanne Mary (Castellani) Powell, and fiance Richard Tower of Lansford;

One Son,
Perry J. Castellani of New York, N.Y.;

One Sister,
Mrs. Teresa (Ventre) DeSimone wife of Vincent of Tampa, Fla.;

Two grandchildren, Angela, and Anthony;

Preceded in death by her brother, Joseph Ventre; sisters, Conchetta Furst, and Anna Morabito.

Arrangements are being handled by Holmes - Griffiths Funeral Home, Inc., 200 East Bertsch Street, Lansford, Pa..

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Katharine Drexel R.C.C. at 11 o'clock A.M. Thursday August 19, 2010, Rev. Kenenth A. Medve officiating.

A receiving line will follow after the mass.

Interment will be at St. Joseph's R.C.C., Bloomingdale, Summit Hill, Pa.
