Charlotte Leona Hellner, formerly of 408 Hazlewood Apartments, Hazle Township, Pennsylvania died Friday, February 21, 2014 at Mountain City Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, White Building, Hazle Township, Pennsylvania where she has been a resident since February, 2010.
She was born on May 14, 1930 in Philadelphia, daughter of the late Edmund H. & Leona E. Hellner. She resided in Hazleton and Weatherly. She was a graduate of Hazleton High School, Class of 1948.
She was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Hazleton.
Prior to retiring, she was employed by Tung-Sol, Wagner Electric, Cooper Industries.
Preceding her in death in addition to her parents were her birth parents, Arthur Miller and Florence Traphagen, her foster parents, Mr. & Mrs. Joseph Baker, and Earl and Berdine Moser with whom she resided for over 40 years.
She is survived by William Moser & his wife Janet, Lansdale; Charles & his wife Elaine, Lansdale; and Robert & his wife Doreen, Red Hill.
A graveside memorial service of interment will be held on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in Union Cemetery, Weatherly with the Rev Dawn Richie of Zions Evangelical Lutheran Church, Weatherly officiating.
