Mr. Charles "Charlie" R Wagner, age 83, of Tamaqua, died Friday, March 11, 2011, at St Luke's Miners Memorial Hospital in Coaldale.
Charlie was employed by Home Savings & Loan/ American Savings, Tamaqua for over 40 years as a mortgage banker.
He was a WWII U.S. Army Veteran.
Charlie was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church of Tamaqua and the Tamaqua American Legion.
He was a 1946 Tamaqua High School graduate.
Born in Tamaqua, he was the son of the late Rowland Wagner and the late Florence (Derr) Wagner.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Mrs. Mary E (Doyle) Wagner of Tamaqua
nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his brother, Dr. Kenneth W. Wagner.
