A Tamaqua High School graduate class of 1979 Chuck answered a call to public service as a young man. He was an active member of the Tamaqua Ambulance Assoc., Tamaqua Rescue Squad, and South Ward Fire Company. Chuck was currently working as a Public Safety Officer for Lehigh Valley Health Network at the Hazleton Campus. He previously held positions with Lehigh Carbon Community College Tamaqua Campus, and St. Luke's University Health System. Chuck served as a Pa. State Constable for over 35 years. He and JoAnn owned and operated her family's appliance business, Kutcher's TV and Appliance in Tamaqua for 12 years. Chuck volunteered his time unselfishly renovating the community Christmas decorations, and as an advocate for the Drug Buster Rally held annually in the Tamaqua Schools. He also served as Animal Control Officer in Tamaqua for many years. Chuck belonged to the West Penn Rod & Gun Club, the F.O.P. and the Schuylkill County Constable's Association. When he wasn't working security at the Tamaqua Area sporting events, he volunteered his time working the chains on the sidelines for the Tamaqua Blue Raiders home football games.
If Chuck wasn't attending one of his grandchildren's various activities, he would take refuge in his newly built garage which he was so proud of. Here he would work on cars and other small engines with the companionship of his dogs, Lacie, Mia, and Molly.
