Charles A. Repinec, 93 years of age of Lansford, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, as a guest of Maple Shade Meadows Nesquehoning..
Born Friday, April 3, 1931 in Lansford, Pennsylvania the son of the late Charles and Catherine (Kulhavy) Repinec. Charlie was also predeceased by his beloved wife of 50 years, Theresa (Ruslavage) Repinec; sister, Pauline Yanchura; brother, Stephen J. Repinec.
Charlie is survived by his sister-in-law, Rita M. Ripinec; caregiver, and niece, Stephanie McCarroll and her husband Frank, their children, Sean McCarroll and his companion Liz Russo, Christine McCarroll, great nieces, Briella, and Gianna Woodson; other nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive Charlie.
A Lansford High School graduate, Charlie served honorably in the United States Coast Guard during the Korean War. A devoted member of the former SS. Peter & Paul R.C.C., now St. John XXIII R.CC.of Tamaqua, Charlie and his wife Theresa took great pride keeping the church garden around the sign, tending to the altar, and planting the urns outside of the church for many years, while also tending the garden at Kennedy Park in Lansford. Charlie retired from Ametek in Nesquehoning, worked as a carpenter in the Panther Valley, and was a certified cosmetologist working alongside Theresa in her Beauty Salon. Charlie served as a Lansford Borough Councilman, belonged to the Lansford AmVets, and was an ardent Pittsburgh Steelers, and Penn State Football fan. Charlie enjoyed the companionship of his dog Tawny and cat T.C.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 o'clock AM on Monday February 24, 2025 from St. John XXIII R.C.C. located at 307 Pine Street Tamaqua, Pennsylvania 18252. Military Honors will be bestowed after the mass.
Private Interment will be in SS. Peter & Paul R.C.C. Cemetery Owl Creek, Pennsylvania.
