Charles F Hosler, age 79, of E. Broad St., Tamaqua, died Monday, December 9, 2013, at home.

He was preceded in death by his wife Barbara M. (Houser) Hosler on 11-15-2009.

Charles was an Army CpL. having served during the Korean War as a heavy equipment operator.

He had been a truck driver for 45 years.

Charles was a member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church and S. Ward Fire Co. both of Tamaqua.

Born in Newkirk, he was the son of the late Franklin Hosler and the late Mary (Smith) Hosler.

He is survived by his

Three Daughters,
Cindy Rascavage wife of Lenny of New Ringgold; Karen Dodson wife of Paul of Sebastian, FL; and Holly Breiner wife of Bill of Tamaqua;

Two Sons,
Bud Hosler and his wife Deb and
Tom Hosler and his wife Krissy all of Tamaqua;

Ten grandchildren
Three great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his sisters, Dolores Lesniak and Rose Miller; brother, Benjamin.

Arrangements are being handled by E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pa., where the family will receive friends on Friday, December 13, 2013 from 6-8 PM and on Saturday, December 14, 2013 from 10 AM until time of service.

Funeral Service will be on Saturday, December 14, 2013 at 11 o'clock AM at the E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Pastor Phyllis Wolford to officiate.

Interment with Military Honors will be at Odd Fellows Cemetery, Tamaqua.

Memorials in his honor may be sent to the Disabled American Veterans Hazleton Chapter American Legion 305 E. Diamond Ave., Hazleton, PA 18201.
