Cecilia C. "Jackie" Jones

Cecilia C. "Jackie" (Lynn) Jones, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, 78 years of age of Cherry Street, Tamaqua, passed away on Tuesday, March 3, 2015, at home while under the care of her family.

Married to her husband of thirty-two years, William James Jones.

A member of New Life Assembly of God of Tamaqua, Cecilia was an active member and President of the South Ward Playground Associaition for many years. She mothered & grand mothered to many local youth who affectionaltely called her Nan Jones.

Cecilia also enjoyed crocheting.

Born Saturday, June 20, 1936 in Coaldale, the daughter of the late William, and Cecilia (Conahan) Lynn.

Christopher Jones and his wife Mary of Tamaqua,
William Jones and his wife diane of Tamaqua,
Eugene "Midge" Perla and his wife Margaret of Tamaqua;

John "Wassy" Lynn of Poconos;

27 grand children; 20 great grand children;

Many nieces, and nephews also survive Jackie.

Preceded in death by sisters, Mrs. Kitty Bevich, Mrs. Mary Metz, Mrs. Jane Stanley, Mrs. Rita Caffery; brothers, Robert, and David Lynn;
