Mrs. Catherine Z (Zettlemoyer) Rex, age 78, of Mahoning Township, Pa., died Tuesday, April 23, 2013, at Blue Mtn Summit in Lehighton.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Ambrose A. Rex.
Catherine had been employed by Gnaden Huetten Hospital and retired from Palmerton Hospital as an ultrasound and nuclear medicine x-ray technician.
She was a member of Ben Salem U.C.C. of Lehighton.
Catherine was a graduate of Slatington High School and received x-ray certification from Temple University.
She was a member of Lehighton Eastern Star and was an avid gardener.
Born in Greenwich Twp., Berks County, she was the daughter of the late Webster Zettlemoyer and the late Helen (Snyder) Zettlemoyer.
She is also survived by her
Two Brothers,
Carl E Zettlemoyer and his wife Lucille of Kutztown and Harlan P Zettlemoyer and his wife Becky of Westminster, MD;
Nieces and Nephews.
Arrangements are being handled by Robert S. Nester Funeral Home, Inc., 2066 West Penn Pike, New Ringgold, Pa., where the family will receive friends on Friday, April 26, 2013 from 9:30-11:00 AM.
Funeral Service will be on Friday, April 26, 2013 at 11 o'clock AM at the Robert S. Nester Funeral Home, Rev. Michael McGowan to officiate.
Interment at LowHill Cemetery, New Tripoli.
