Miss Catherine Jane Yelito, age 40, formerly of Tamaqua, PA., died Friday, October 12, 2007, at Muhlenberg Medical Center in Bethlehem, Pa., with her sister Margaret by her side. Catherine has been a resident of the Good Shepherd Home of Bethlehem, Pa. ince Sept. of 2000.
Born in Tamaqua, PA.,she was the daughter of the late Alfred and the Margaret (Boyle) Yelito.
The youngest of eight siblings, she graduated from Marian Cathoic High School and Kutztown University. While at Marian, she was active in the band, serving as Drum Majorette.
Following graduation Catherine taught at various elementary schools including St. Jeromes of Tamaqua. Her last employment was at All Saints School of Pottsville, PA. in 1993, before becoming disabled due to Multiple Sclerosis. Catherine was well Loved by her students. She also worked at the Mahoning Valley Golf Course,and at the Tamaqua American Legion. She will be remembered as a fun loving and caring sister, and friend, who was always ready to tell a joke.

Nine Nephews, Six Nieces, One Great Nephew, and several Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.
Arrangements are being handled by E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, Inc., 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pa., where the family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Saturday, October 20, 2007.
Memorial service will be at E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, Inc. at 11:00 AM Saturday, October 20, 2007 .
Interment will be at St. Jerome R.C.C. Cemetery in Tamaqua, Pa.
