Catherine T. (Yatsko) Yasenchak, age 90, formerly of Mary-D, died Monday, June 25, 2012, at Hometown Nursing & Rehabilitation Ctr. in Hometown.
Widow of Peter Yasenchak, Jr., who died in 1980.
A member of St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church of Brockton, Catherine had worked for Brockton Sportswear, and enjoyed playing bingo.
Born in Mary-D, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Ann (Yanno) Yatsko.
She is survived by her
Two Sons,
Peter M. Yasenchak and his wife Joyce of Barnesville,
John F. Yasenchak and his wife Corrine of Shakopee, Minn.;
One Sister,
Mary (Yatsko) Kuzak of Coaldale;
Two Brothers,
John Yatsko of Coaldale,
Joe Yatsko of Trenton, N.J.;
Fourteen grandchildren
Ten great-grandchildren
Seven great-great grandchildren;
Preceded in death by a son, Stephen Yasenchak on Sept. 5, 2010; brothers, George and Albert Yatsko.
Arrangements are being handled by E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, Inc., 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pa., where the family will receive friends from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM Thursday, June 28, 2012.
Office of Christian Burial will be held at the E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, Inc. at 11 o'clock AM Thursday, June 28, 2012, Rev. Jim Carroll to officiate.
Interment will be at St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church Cemetery, Tuscarora.
