Catherine M. (Porter) Frey, 85, of East Main Street Weatherly, died Saturday, February 11, 2012, at Hazleton General Hospital in Hazleton.
Preceded in death by her husband, Donald Robert Frey.
Catherine worked at Tung-Sol of Weatherly for over 30 years. She was a member of Salem U.C.C. of Weatherly.
Catherine loved playing cards with her friends and visiting the casinos.
A baker, catherine enjoyed collecting dolls.
Born in West Hazleton, she was the daughter of the late Arlie and Ruth (Funk) Porter.
Survived by her
Two Daughters,
Mary Lee (Frey) Moratto wife of Frank of Weatherly,
Cathy Ann (Frey) DeAngelo wife of Jonathan of West Hazleton;
One grandchild, Anthony Giannott and his wife Shanna;
She was also prceded in death by a grandson, Alexander; brothers, Edward, William, Roy, and Paul Porter.
Arrangements are being handled by Philip J. Jeffries Funeral Home, 211 First Street Weatherly,Philip J. Jeffries F.D., where the family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, February 14, 2012 and from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Wednesday, February 15, 2012.
Funeral service will be at Philip J. Jeffries Funeral Home at 11 o'clock AM Wednesday, February 15, 2012, Rev. Fredericka Beauchard to officiate.
Interment will be at Union Cemetery.
