Catharine Conageski

Mrs. Catharine "Cakk" (Donohue) Conageski, age 85, of Pine Street Tamaqua, died Thursday, September 8, 2011 in her home.

A member of Trinity U.C.C. of Tamaqua, Catharine was a 1943 Tamaqua High School graduate, and matriculated to West Chester Teacher's College.

Upon graduation, Cakk taught in San Fransico, California, Allentown, and then substituted in the Tamaqua School Distict while raising her family.

Born in Coaldale, she was the daughter of the late Hugh and Berdella (Wetterau) Donohue.

She is survived by her

Kay A. Conageski of Plantation, Fl;

One Son,
Raymond H Conageski and his wife Ann of Vienna, WV;

One Brother,
Charles R "Brum" Donohue and his wife Beryl M. of Tamaqua;

Three grandchildren, Christine and her husband Matt, Michael and his wife Elizabeth, and Amanda;

Preceded in death by her husband, Raymond A. (Pach) Conageski on February 2, 2006

Arrangements are being handled by E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, Inc., 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pa.

Friends will be received Monday Sept 12, 2011 from 9:30 A.M. until time of Service at 11 o'clock A.M. at the funeral home.

Interment in Odd Fellows Cemetery of Tamaqua.
