Mr. Carvin C. Miller, age 83, of Tamaqua, Pa., died Wednesday, January 24, 2007, at Mahoning Valley Nursing Home in Lehighton, Pa.
Carvin attended West Penn schools. Upon graduation he served during WWII in the United State Marine Corp.. In 1968 he and his wife began operating their families Cattle and Crop Farm in West Penn Twp., which they ran until 1981. While farming Carvin drove Truck, last working for M.T.S.of Northampton, Pa.
Carvin is a member of St. Peter's Church of Mantzville, a Charter member of the Penn Mahoning Fire Company & Ambulance Assoc., member of West Penn Fire Co., and active in the Marine Corp League.
A life-long resident of West Penn Twp. he was the son of the late Warren Miller and the late Eva (Fritz) Miller.
